Thompson Center Encore info

SCCO9803

Question

I posted this in the shooting sports section as well.

I am wondering what a good price would be to pay for a two year old Thompson Center Encore. The gun has the black powder barrel and a scope along w/ it. Not sure the brand of the scope. I know the gun has been well taken care of. Also the gun has the camo finish. It has maybe 40 rounds shot through it.

Thanks!

I paid $500.00 last year for a perfect 2 year old stainless/camo. My buddy bought a new blued/walnut for $479.00 last fall.

Remember scopes are not yet legal during the muzzleloader only season (and I hope they never are). You can use it during the rifle season if you want to shoot black powder. They are great guns.

I am going to buy a shotgun barrel and sell the turkey gun. My plans also include looking into buying a centerfire rifle barrel also. We are in the preliminary stages of planning a caribou hunt and I'll take one gun and 3 barrels. This way if the wind is too strong for my muzzleloader, I can shoot rifle cartridges. Then if I'm lucky and tag out, I can chase Ptarmigan with the shotgun barrel!

Good Luck!

Ken
