The world's most popular brand of camera has produced the fastest-selling entry-level DSLR worldwide — and it just got better. And it brings down the price of the 30D a bit, because public perception is that 10 Mp is a lot better than 8.2, when it's really not much of a difference. But it's megapixels that drive a lot of the consumer market, so it's smart for Canon to up the ante on that camera. Nice to have a much larger viewing screen in back, too. Jury's still out on the effectiveness of the dust cleaning system.

That being said, Canon, Nikon, a couple other big names, you can't go wrong with any of their DSLRs.
