Dennis Steele Posted March 5, 2003 Share Posted March 5, 2003 You have to try this!Bread the steak in a shake type batter.Drop into hot oil(350)and deep enough to cover the steaks.Fry for about 5 to 7 minutes.Depends on how thick your steaks are.I like a little pink in my venison.The wife and I have tried this twice and it is just delicious.It comes out moist and juicy,not dry like if you pan fried it.We tried two batters that were really good.The Chef Roberts batter(my favorite),and the Mrs.Olsons Lost River spicy red pepper.(Her favorite)YUM!
