I would suggest getting ahold of the current publications of canning recipes, from the canning jar folks, Ball puts out a good one. The proper procedures are updated over time so the current version is the way to go. It is only a few bucks at your local kitchen supply or hardware store, usually in the same section where they sell the jars, lids and accessories, the book I have is a few years old, I don't think it would be a good idea to quote a recipe from it, without looking at the current book first.

About two years ago I had some canned fish, it was great. I had it on crackers but I was told it could also be made into fish patties. It was in some sort of tomato sauce. Does anyone have a recipe like this or another good canning recipe?
