Anyone been to Bitter???

I am lining up my semi annual trip to Bitter Lake. I plan on going in late September. Has anyone fished it lately and how has it been this year. I hit it Late May and it was terrible. I'm just wondering if it is dead this year or did I hit a bad day? I've had lots of luck there in the past. I am familiar with the lake and how and where to fish it I just want to know if it’s still worth the trip.
