I just wanted to drop a note about Lowrance Customer Support.
I have an LMS 332C that went goofy on me. It would turn itself on, and then constantly flash and beep.
I called Lowrance support and the gal on the phone said this was a known issue with 5" displays. She told me to send my unit in and they would service it free of charge. No questions were asked about the date of purchase, etc.
I sent the unit priority mail on August 11. A replacement unit was on my doorstep today, August 22. I thought that was an amazing turnaround to have a product replaced. Barely any longer than shipping time alone.
I haven't had to send anything into any other marine electronics companies, but that was the kind of service that will earn repeat business.
I am so very sorry to hear this and so sorry for the loss of Chamois. She was beautiful companion.
We will always miss the dogs we have lost. Unfortunately we lost both of our dogs just 6 days apart in November.
