Caramel Apple Bread Pudding

I made this recipe for my family on Thanksgiving. I thought it was a grat recipe to share with you all!

1-1# loaf Italian bread
6 eggs
3 ½ C. milk
1 ½ C. white sugar
1 C. cream (heavy cream is best but half and half works)
1 C. raisins
1 C diced peeled apple
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 tub Marzetti’s caramel apple dip


Cube bread and leave overnight on cooling racks to dry slightly.
Mix eggs, milk, sugar, cream and vanilla
Add apples and raisins
Pour together with bread in large bowl or stock pot.
Mix together with wooden spoon so raisins and apples are mixed in.
Butter sides and bottom of 9x13 cake pan. Pour in contents.
Cover with foil and bake at 325 degrees for 1hr. or until done.


Heat caramel in microwave until it is soft enough to pour over bread pudding.
