Trailer enclosure or not??

MIKE IN lINO III

Question

I currently have a 2 place Floe trailer and I'm thinking of getting a top for it. Couple of questions I have for you guys.

Go with Aluminum of Fibreglass?

Where to get one?

I just want to keep the elements off of the sleds and wheelers.

Thanks,

Mike

I've looked into several myself. If I were to buy now I think I'd go with a "Sno Cap". Its made of a heavy duty waterproof material, is far lighter than the others, less expensive and can be removed and stored easier than the others. One of my buddies has one that is probably more than 10 years old and still in good shape. Another friend has a fiberglass one that is very nice also. Probably the Cadillac of covers but it was fairly pricey, heavy, and more difficult to remove or store if you need to. Most of the aluminum ones Ive seen dont seem to stand up as well over time to the constant flexing and bouncing that a trailer typically endures. Just my opinion but I wouldn't go for the aluminum myself. Check out the Sno caps too.....
