I am going to be moving in with my great grandma in winsted. Because I am going to school in hutchinson. Does anyone know of any state land around there for duck and deer? Thanks

I dont know of any close to there but I would get a plat book from the county and that will show you where state land is, and it will tell you who owns any land around there. With some scouting and some generosity from the local farmers you could find yourself some nice hunting spots, all you have to do is ask, and the worst they can say is no. I dont think that area gets hunted hard for waterfowl. I have seen lots of geese over the last few years in that area.
