My two year old Britt got a hold of a baby rabbit last night. I played it off though when she brought it to me. My last dog did the same thing....I hate that!

My 3 year old lab did that 2 nights ago. I just tell him to drop it and take it from him. Happens about once a year, rabbit or squirrel. It hasn't turned into a habit, but they will chase anything like that on the ground. It's when they catch it that's the problem.

Careful.....wabbits and possums have fleas and they become worms.

It's really the fur as opposed to feathers thing that gets me.... Hopefully, since I made it a non issue she may have forgotten most of the ordeal.
