I took a night to researsh some possible flathead real estate. It seems where I live I have to drive a minimum of 90 minutes to get anywhere near big enough water. I figured I could take the drive to where the Zumbro meets the Mississippi. I checked out many areas along the Zumbro. It just does not seem as deep or as wide as the Minnesota. Even down by Theilman and Kellogg.

I was wondering, has anyone else ever fished down that way for flats?

I feel for ya man. I'm not quite sure how I will handle the day I'm not near flathead country.

If that ever happens, I'm hoping that there's either a huge King Salmon, Monster Sturgeon, or Sharks nearby
