Chainberlain or Platte?

Help! I haven't fished the Missouri since I moved from the Mitchell area 20 years ago. I am coming back for a family reunion and am bringing my boat to take my dad fishing on the river(he dosen't get out much anymore since many of his fishing buddies are no longer with us). So my question is should we put in at Chainberlain or Platte or ?? Will be driving from Mitchell, I figure those two are the closest. Also what has been working for walleyes? My dad likes to pull plugs so I'm sure we'll be doing some of that. Probably fishing Sat. July 22. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Spitz: If you don't mind a little further drive you could go out of North Shore Above Fort Thompson and boat it up to the flats at Lower Brule. The plug bite has been going good there.

Lots of fish, be ready to battle the smallies.

Haven't heard much else.
