My favorite up there is Marble Beach on Spirit Lake. Have stayed a few places on W.Okoboji, but prefer Marble beach to all others. Dont know about other places away from the main lake, so maybe someone else can help you with that.

Goody is right...Marble is a great choice and very close to boat ramp, beach area, fish cleaning station, etc. There are several camping pads right next to the boat ramp with a nearly new shower house within a close walk as well.
