huntingmaxima
Would someone post their formula for a good plant medium. I have heard; 1 part peat 1 part vermiculite 1 part perlite 1 part sand 1/2 cup 10-10-10 fertilizer per bushel of medium Is this a good formula? Bobby Bass
For my greenhouse I use 3 40#bags of potting soil add a 5gal bucket of peat moss, mix.. fill my pots with that and then add a layer of peat moss on top. I use this combo for my plants that are started in the greenhouse and then transplanted to the garden or flower pots and also for the plants that stay in the greenhouse for the summer, peppers/tomatoes has worked well for me. Of course I am mixing this by the wheelbarrow load
