I don't know the answer to this so I will put it out there.

Who holds the record for Grand Slams in one year? I think they were talking about Joe Crede having three so far this year and it is not even July 1st. Hit the books and lets see what the answer is. Go Go GO Joe! (pardon my dream coat reference there)

If my memory serves me right its Donnie "Baseball" Mattingly with 6 in the 1987 season

you are correct,,, Don hit 6 in 1987,,, HIS only 6.

The Iron Horse has the record of 23. (Lou Gehrig) and he would have hit more if his life wasn't cut short by ALS. He died at the age of 37. He would have hit 30 easy, on those teams.

Manny has got 20 thru 2005.

Griffey is up there as well.

Crede can join some elite company if he bangs one more. Less than 20 people have ever hit 4 in a season. Griffey JR has 15 career, but never more than 3 in a single season.
