Steve Jonesi Guide Service

I spent the day Wednesday on "The Pond" with Steve Jonesi, what a treat! I've fished the lake a fair amount on my own, but was blown away with what he knew about the lake.

He had a plan of attack for us, and we hit it hard! He spent extra time with my girlfriend's son and turned him from a rookie into a musky addict in no time! Steve put us on a pattern and most importantly put us on big fish! Despite 25+mph winds, he kept us EXACTLY where we wanted to be. All day!

I learned so much in one day that I now realize how much more I have to learn! Steve was teaching and showing us many things, and we got to field test the Luna reels (Sweet reels!) and several Thorne Bros custom rods. Above all, we had a blast, he is one cool dude and a treat to spend a day in the boat with, sweet Ranger by the way! I'll be looking forward to another day out with him.

Oh yeah, one more thing, he called me yesterday morning to follow up on a couple things and to say thanks again......now that's what I call good client service!

Dude, I heard about the fish that the rook lost. What a HEARTBREAKER...terrible way to lose a fish, especially one of that caliber.

SJ is definitely a great guy to be in the boat with. He has the big girls on The Pond dialed in right now too.

Steve called me today to see how my season was going and to keep in touch. That is what I call a quality guide and a quality guy!

He's got fish going on Mille Lacs away from the "parade of boats" on the north shore, I'd highly recommend anyone interested in a guided day/night on the Pond to give Jonesi a call!
