friendlyfisher
Quick question, anyone else notice that Lew Ford goes down to one knee when he swings? Its the craziest thing i have ever seen. He had one at bat where he fouled off like 5 strait pitches and everyone he ended up on one knee. Now im watching the rerun of last nights game and im noticing the same thing. Also, can we start to boooo Lew, or would he think we are still Lewwwwing? Thats all I got. friendly
Spinner1
Brandon Phillips, formerly of the Indians, new hitting leader for the Reds, also does the "take a knee" technique. But only when he's totally fooled by a pitch, and trying in vain to avoid strike three. Then he walks back to the dugout. Tonight will be the first time I get to see the Twins over here on TV. I'll watch for it and see if Lew's move is the same.

friendlyfisher
I think Lew has been watching Rondell White get fooled by thoose off speed pitches one to many times.
Maximum12
I'm more concerned about Lew's boneheaded baserunning blunders, which seem to be coming with greater & greater frequency, than his bizarre swings. Once Stewart comes back & proves he can play left again, I wonder where Lew is going to find playing time as the 5th outfielder.
