A testament to the good ol Bullhead

The other night I caught about 20 really nice Bullheads. Put them in my tank.....then last night I changed the water, and when I do that I have a short hose that I keep in the tank and then just hook up the garden hose. Well I changed the water, unhooked the hose and went to bed.

This morning I check on them before I went to work and thought to myself "wow that is the clearest I've ever seen the water". Then it dawns on me, there is NO WATER. The short piece of hose siphoned out and down the driveway it went.

They were still alive!

Fill up the 50 gal tank with pure city water, chlorine and all. Come home today with only one dead one.

Man those buggers are tough.

Funny how a big ol Mudeye can stiffin them out in just a few seconds though eh?

Lot's of preservatives in those buggers, kinda like cheese whiz which can last a week on a beach....

50 gallon tank huh, nice.
