Skis
Just thought I'd give a report. Fished a benefit tourney yesterday based out of Pickstown. We went a long way north (North of Whetstone) and caught a lot of fish (30+). Bottom bouncers/spinners/crawlers worked. Minnows didn't. Nothing huge (biggest was just under 18") but we were throwing back a lot of 15.5" trying to get a kicker fish We caught our fish in 15-25 feet of water. Sorry the report is vague (location), but I only fish this area once a year with this benefit.
percherman
Skis: The fishing around Platte has been phenomenal this year. I have been out three weekends and have got our quota of eyes plus quite a few bass in a few hours each time. No sense in getting up early, the best fishing is usually from 10-2. Our best luck has been on a homemade floater with a 6'leader and leach. The place I fish the fish suspend about 3 feet off the bottom, and we found that was the only way to get them. We also have been crank-in the tree tops in the channel look-in for that hog just for fun.
