Use a good quality exterior plywood and epoxy resin. coat the bottom and edges before installing it. mix some epoxy with some wood flour (fine sawdust)and fill any gaps. tape the seams and were the sides of the floor meet the hull then coat the top of the plywood with a coat of epoxy resin.
I would also consider adding pour-in-place flotation foam under the floor. this will stiffen the floor and could save you life if the boat would get swamped.

I think we did that boat about 15 years ago. If I remember right, with parts and labor, it was somewhere in the $1500 dollar range. I think with all the materials it would end up to I suppose about an extra 200 pounds. If you're trying to determine how your motor will do, figure an extra good sized guy sitting right in the middle of the boat and you should come pretty close to how it will ride after the mods.
