Fish Fryer Question

I purchased a King Cooker Brand fish fryer and didn't realize I bought one with a low preasure burner. Too late to return it. The flames on it are tall and yellow and they blacken the bottom of the pot. Does anybody know if it is possible to put an adjustable regulator on it to make the flames short and blue to burn hotter? Thanks for any replys.

just buy a hi pressure head, they are like 20 bucks, lots of info on the net.

Have you adjusted the air mixture? You'll find it where the gas hose connects to the burner. Should be instructions in the manual.
