Fish Trap 2 pole fix?

I have an older Fish Trap II model that the extension poles have got slightly bent making it impossible to slide the poles inside each other anymore so I have to take the poles apart to fold the trap down. I was wondering if anybody had some creative ways to fix the problem so I can slide the poles together agian. thanks

Do the poles hav a bend in them. I suspect the end part the slides on the inside is just a strait pole. Sportsman Warehouse or any place that has camping gear sells tent poles. I would start there and bring in the old one to see if you can match it up. They have 2-3 different kinds. Second choice would be to get a conduit pole that will fit inside and cut it the length you want. Then get the parts at said store above to make a locking snap. Hope this helps. Maybe I'm way off on what your talking about though.
