  3. I can never make a good one. Does anyone have a good recipe? Thanks BI
  4. Ok. I know this topic has been beat-to-death, but I've never payed much attention to the topic. Anyway, I live in the Minneapolis Metro and fish within an hour of the city most of the time and I'm in the market for a GPS and Mapping Software (B-day present). I Plan to tally up all the responses from this topic to determine which unit to buy. thanks. BI
  5. Hi I love my CPB. I was just at Fleet Farm and saw that they sell them, but Walmart has a Knock-off for 1/2 the price. It looks exactly the same to me--that's what I would buy if I were to buy another one. BI
  6. 3lb Micro Ice for everything here.... BI
  7. hey agian. So I got it from my GF for xmas, I didn't think much of it but let her use it the last time we were out fishing. She really liked fishing with it and thought it helped her. One thing she said to me which made some sense is that "It probably works better for someone who isn't that experienced in jigging. So I plan to replace the reel and let her use it.----She is smarter than I thought---"I will buy something that I want, give it as a gift, and hope I get to use it." I guess were both happy now. BI
  8. Strike Sensors are the only way to go for tip-ups. You don't have to be within visual range and they have a light on the transmitter(on the tip-up) to let you know which one is up at night. BI
  9. Where's the CHEAP Gas? [This message has been edited by BullsInc (edited 01-02-2004).]
  10. I work in Hudson a couple times a week and was wondering whether there are any decent Sunny lakes in the area? Thanks BullsInc
  11. Oh, forgot to mention that the reel that came with it is junk. The drag keeps re-adjusting by itself--won't stay set. BI
  12. Hey all I received a Buzz Stix combo for Xmas and used it last night on some crappies. From my one experience it didn't seem to make much of a difference on the negative crappies. We threw everything at them without much success. Just wondering if others have used the Buzz Stix and whether the unit delivers what it promises? BullsInc.
  13. I guess I missed the notice also. Hey T I'll take a Stand-alone also. Thanks. [email protected] [This message has been edited by BullsInc (edited 12-22-2003).]
