Great Fishing!

I was very depressed packing up the last of my belongings from my home in SD.

With the wind bucking the north shorline all weekend it was a no brainer to troll cranks along the north sand break on Lake Thompson. The action was fast and furious for the hour I was out. Lots of small fish and a few good ones to boot.

I have some pics saved on my camera so when I get my computer hooked up I will post some.

As for some of the other lakes in the area they are doing pretty well.

Lake Sinai is kicking out and occational big fish.

The 81 ponds have been steady. Not many limits, but some good walleyes and northerns.

It also sounds like Lake Poinsett is giving up a few walleyes to those that are willing to work for them.

Lake Whitewood has some good northern fishing on it right now.

I will be back out in 2 weeks to try my luck at the Dakota Sportsman on Lake Poinsett. Is anybody else going to be fishing it?
