Bass fishing is not my strong point and I have a tournament on forest lake with my coworkers next saturday.I know nothing about the lake or how to fish it. If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

Inside weedlines should be the strongest pattern. Lake 3 would be my pick for starting spots...a softplastic jerk bait like a sluggo or a spinnerbait would be my top 2 choices.. a tube under docks should get you quite a few fish as well. By next weekend you should also be able to find a few fish around the pencil reeds too. The weather this next week will have a lot to do with where the fish will be next weekend.

Good luck!

Dave- the 3rd lake is on the east side of the lake.. And the reeds will wok if we dont get a ton of wind and it stays warm.. it will push some of the post spawn fish back shallow again to feed some. Water temps in the area are about 71-73 deg... its plenty warm just need to get the fish past the post spawn blues... get them females back on the feed bag!
