X-15 Shutting off

The problem I am having is my depth finder shutting off. I was on Mille Lacs this past weekend and the water was pretty rough. While driving the boat across the chop the depth finder would keep shutting off. All external connections looked to be OK. I am wondering if something is wrong with the LCX 15 unit. Any one else have this problem before. Also any advice?

How's the battery that your graph is running off of??

Do you know anyone who runs the same unit. You could have them try your head on thier boat and see if it still has the same problem. The hook up should be the same for x-15, x-19 and probably others.

You might want to look at your battery connections too. If this only happens in rought water, something must be getting jarred around and is interupting power.

The battery is fairly new. What Crossin says may be the problem. The rough water may loosen the connections. I'll check on that. I do have a buddy that has an x-15 and if the problem persists I will see how how it works in his boat.
