Chrysler motor problem

stmichael

Question

This is regarding a chrylser 75 h.p.
It is a friends motor, He was out on the lake motoring across and the motor quit. Since he's had it at home, he has rebuilt the carbs, replaced plugs. When he tries to start it, the positive terminal on the battery gets very hot. It will wear down a fully charged battery quick.

any ideas?

Mike

Surface Tension,

I will have to ask on the spark issue. I did not think to ask. I will give him the heads up on the battery posts/cables. I will not see him again until tomorrow.

Thanks for the help.
