camera hookup

I have a Marcum VS350 and would like to hook it up to my boat battery, As long as I keep the inline fuse in the circuit, does anyone know any reason this should'nt be done?

I plan disconnecting the leads on the camera battery and wiring to the leads that attach to the camera, which should keep the fuse inline

As long as you keep the inline fuse connected to the camera you should be just fine... 12 volts (your current camera battery) is 12 volts (your motor battery)...
