Vermillion area

I am looking to fish an area lake (eagles nest # 3) this summer and have never fished it before, any tips out there for this first-timer?

Eagle Nest 3 has some very nice fish in it. Walleyes,pike, sunnies, and crappies.

The water is very clear and there is a very large population of smelt in the lake. between the two, that makes it hard to get the fish to bite.

Very early mornings, late evenings, or at night will give you the best chance of doing well.
