S. Branch Root conditions?

I couldn't make lthsi wknd. and it looks very soggy. Too bad for the Trout event. Wish I could have made it. Next yr. Anyways, I'll be heading from NW IL. early Friday morning. Any feedback on conditions of the stream and while your at it, how was the fishing. I suspect DYNAMITE!

What is the best way to get an accurate report? Call the local DNR?

Any suggestions if the flow is to high and dirtly? It's been a long time....

South Branch as of yesterday was strong flow, but good clarity.

Most rain has been slow and steady.
