White-tips
To any of the tournament fisher-men/women with sponsorship obligations: If you have sponsor stickers made for company logos or names to put on your boat, are there certain types or styles or manufacturers of stickers that are easier to remove than others? Do you avoid putting them on the hull and put them on the windows only? What sort of methods or solvents do you use for removal if you sell the boat or have a change in sponsorship? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, KJK.
Random guy
Most of the Decals I am given are made from vinyl. It will stick to just about anyting and they come off pretty easy. On glass just take a razor blade to them, on other surfaces a little heat will go a long ways. I use a hair dryer to warm up the sticker and start peeling a corner. Once you get it started just keep heating ahead of the area that is pulling off and they will come off pretty easy. Any glue that is left behind will normaly rub off with soft rag.Watch out for the decals that are made from the clear wrinkly stuff that looks like saran wrap. That stuff is brutal and it comes off in little 1/4 inch slivers. Try to keep those on the glass.
