Thermacell gismo

Has anyone used the thermacell repellent gismo??? Do they work as they say? Stated it give 225sq ft of protection. Be nice in a boat if it works! Tks

I have one and it does seems to help. It takes about 15 minutes to make a difference and it isn't foolproof but overall it is effective.

Not sure about a boat. If there is a breeze it blows the chemicals away. However, a breeze normally blows the bugs away too.

I've heard of guys using these while deer hunting. Mostly down south where there are more bugs come the season. Do they give off any smell?? I'm kinda curious. I've read on hunting forums where some guys won't go in the woods without them. I haven't used one myself though. What do you guys think? OK or not ok? Sure would be nice for Bear hunting if it didn't give off any smell.
