Tracker Pro-Guide V16 Questions

Hi Guys,
I did a search and found some topics on Tracker Boats. I had a 1990 Pro-Deep V16 that I sold out of stupidity, but now I looked at evey boat manufacturer out there, and Im right back to the Tracker dealer. I love the layout of the Pro-Guide V16, but noticed the boat weighs almost 1200lbs. The package deal they have here has a 50 HP motor on it. I know the site says it will do something like 27 MPH or so, but will it still be strong enough with 3 people in it to get on plane ? Is it a pretty level floating boat ? Does the bow ride real high till you get on plane ? If anyone has any personal expierence with this model, please let me know. I would really appreciate it.

I don't own one but I've spent a little time in one, I can,t compare it to your old boat as I have not been in that one, but as for the Tracker I think it's set up quite nicely but I know you'll be disappointed with the 50, get as much motor as you can afford, I'm thinking somewhere around 70hp

My buddy has a 95 Tracker 17 Pro Tournament (not deep v) with a 40 horse. It runs right around 30mph with 2 225lb guys in it..gear, cooler, livewell full of fish :-). Perfect for all species.

He is thinking about selling it too, he is upgrading to a newer boat. I can have him send you pics if you are interested?
