going to be coming down this weekend to get the line wet for the first time this spring any bass biting on okoboji or spirit

Bassin- I was down there this weekend and wow was it slow. 3 boats two days 3 fish, all from one boat. We tried both Okaboji and Big and Little Spirit. Really windy both days, and really cold water. It would be interesting to see how the guys at the tournament did on Sunday.

17 plus pounds won it. I believe they had all smallies. We landed 23 fish on sunday, only two measure fish 2 and 4 pounder. Hard fishing this past couple of days, now we have Dennys to look forward to.

I've been up there fishing gillies the last two weekend. Using a leach on a plain hook me and my buddy have landed LOTS of large mouths... one that was pushin 5lbs and several several that were 2-4lbs.

I never realized how how hard those fish fight! It's a real riot when you set hook into a good one!
