I don't usually care for feeder shots, but this one shows good views of two of my favorite birds of all time. We have them all year up here, and in the other places I've lived they were uncommon to rare.

Evening grosbeaks, by the way. They're paired up for the mating season.

Canon 20D, 100-400L image stabilizer at 400mm, iso200, f5.6, 1/400 to 1/1250.

If you go to the photo sharing board there's a sticked post at the top with directions. That should get you going. If something's not clear or it doesn't work for you, ask again and we'll help you out.

Nice birds. I have only seen Red Breasted Grossbeaks. It's in the spring when I go to this creek by the Mississippi. But I have never seen them anywhere else. They are pretty though.
