Question
Groloe
I have a 2000, 115 hp Johnson. It is running choppy at low-end, occasionally stalling. It idles fine, and it runs fine at top speed, but the trouble shows up when going at a trolling speed. Here's the deal- I just had some work done to it. After trying a few things we finally learned that it needed a new power pack. One of the other things that was tried was installing carb kits (all 4 carbs).
My question is, has anyone else had a similar experience after either rebuilding the carbs or replacing the power pack? Could it be a fuel thing with the carbs or a timing thing with the power pack? The other option is that, since it hasn't ran well for a while, it simply needs to burn some things off. I'm hoping that's the case.
Would greatly appreciate any help-
Shawn
