Muskie Opener

Recommended Posts

Yeah, but any dents in the prop?

It's a nice lake, watch for the prop eating rock near the landing. Good muskie action, but no monsters there. At least there was the last time I was on the lake. Lots of nice walleyes too. Don't forget to use your Dumbell to get back into casting shape. wink.gif

Oh, and I'll be in the B-Dub on Ensign Lake for the muskie opener.

Steve.

Isabella country has one lake with Leech Lk Strain muskies where you have a shot at a mid-upper 40 inch fish. Lots of fish less than 34 inches. Great place to go to see and catch multiple fish but only a chance at a larger fish. There are also several lakes with only Shoepac strain fish. One is not too far from Ely. Lots of fish up to 40 inches, most less than 36 inches but great action lakes. Of course the big V has some super tankers swimming around. One by the name of Zepplin.... smile.gif

You'd know about Zepplin, wouldn't you? wink.gif

I already went onto the lake finder site and found the one near Isabella with Shoepack and Leech strain fish. I imagine I'll be making its acquaintance eventually, but V is just too tempting right now.
