I have a bow mount tour 84lb. with built in pin point. got in some cabbage by Brainard and blew a in line fuse on battery lead. when i replaced fuse all i had was high. could not adjust speed or even shut off with on off on foot pedal. my guy wants $330.00 to replace parts on switch board with digital. any body had this experience or offer help? i would like to trade the motor w/depthfinder as is on new with out depth finder. does any one know of a dealer that might be interested? Thanks alot. Trapper

I don't have any experience with MotorGuides but I would think the load you put on the motor you blew the main board.
Check on prices for a new one and see what your guy is charging you for labor or mark-up to replace it. I don't think you'll find any retailer that will trade in your old working or not working motor.
