My wife and I are thinking of taking our newest member of our family camping. Can anyone recomend this campground? The other reviews of this campground make it sound nice.

Well, I live in Z.F. and have been around there quite a bit. I have only camped there once though. They run a decent place for families. I know they made a policy of quiet time after 10:00 or something like that. They have a pool and place to whack some golf balls. I think they still have a Frisbe golf course too. But, the best part is the Zumbro river. Lots of good fishing holes. Canoing and tubing are popular things to do. They also have a very cool light show in the fall. It's a nice place!

My family and I were there last August. We had a great time!! The hills are steap though, We had a campsite next to the river. My legs got real tired from climbing the hills, but the kids liked going real fast down on their bikes. I have a pop-up type camper, but there was a lot of tents set up allover. The tubing was the big highlight of the campground, but we did not go becuse my youngest child is 1 1/2 years old. There was alot to do in the evening, karoke, dancing, music, eating at the hall at top of the hill. Hope you have fun!!! Oh, I almost forgot the fishing was good too. My 4 year old caught a big sheephead, he was really proud of that!

Me and my family only camp a couple times a year and we always try to make it there each year, one year we stayed in a "premium" site on the upper side it was somewhat secluded and close to the pool and play equipment. Most roads in the campground are paved so riding bikes with a baby trailer should be easy enough but watch out for the hills. Another we like is the old barn down in lansboro. Trout fishing, driving range and 18 hole golf course and resturant in 100 year old barn Indoor pool for the cool days all on site and miles of bike trails linked at the campground.and the town is small and easy to get around for antiques and other small town stuff.

P.S. We tent also that's the ony way to camp..

Great place for kids, I have been bringing mine since they were infants and they still love it. Just a suggestion to ask to stay in the tenting area so you don't end up by cousin Eddy grin.gif and his motorhome.

I am going to Bluff Valley on the 21-23. I have been there before, great place. Some of you mentioned about the fishing, I have not fished rivers too much, any info would be great. Thanks.
