Lond Island Sound

This may be a long shot, but I am going to visit a buddy of mine who lives in Mamaroneck, NY right on the Long Island Sound. He lives right on the water and right by a marina. I was hoping to do a little shore fishing while he is at work. Does anyone know what kind of fish are in that area, and what kind of lures may work this time of year? I really have no clue and any advise would be appreciated. Thanks!

They usually fish for flounder in that area this time of year. I remember using blood worms and sand worms fishing like you would for bullhead. I know they run party boats out of Port Chester (just down the road). Last time I went on one there I think my buddy and I caugth about 200 flounder. But that was a while ago.
