Lowrance Advice

E.Martin

Question

My X70A, just died this weekend and I am in the market for a new locator. I am looking at the 330c, 105c, and X15mt. Anyone know the advantage of dual frequency? What is the "Fish reveal" technology that some of LEI locators have? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Eli

Unless you fish the Great Lakes a lot, skip the dual frequency. 200 mhz transducer will serve all your needs for normal (20 - 50 foot depth) fishing in the upper midwest. Some people have had trouble with the dual frequency units.

That 330c looks nice. The color makes interpreting data easier after you get used to it. The X-15mt has been out there for several years with many satisfied users.

I use an X-19 and I like the color displays. I'd probably choose that 330 C.

The 330c works great! I just returned from 5 days in Canada and set it up as a portable. The screen size was just fine. Different colors for each route was great. You can easily switch from split screen instantly. So much easier to see than my Garmen Legend for these 52 year old eyes.Top notch unit.Bought it at Fleet Farm for $600 even.Best price around. Good fishing DrJ.
