Guys,how did the birds get through the winter and how was last years hunting?I didnt get down last fall and was thinking of making a trip this November.This area has always treated my group well since 1970.

Been at great year for the birds here. Such a mild winter with little snowcover made it easy for the birds to find food and stay big and fat. The warm weather also prevented alot of deaths just due to the pure cold. Went out at lunch to day to take the dog for a run at some local public ground here and must have kicked up 40 birds. Numbers were great this year so barring a wet spring it should be one of the best in recent history.
