Motor guide problem

I need a little help here, thanks in advance! Last weekend I hit the head of my trolling motor against a metal dock pole. Afterward it worked spuradicly for about 5 min and then died. I went over all the wiring and it is OK. I dont know anything about whats inside the heads of these units that I must have broke. HELP, I cant afford to replace another one.

Sorry to hear about the motor. Been there, broke that... Take it down to the Motor Clinic in Bloomington - they're a Motorguide service center, and they can help you out. They're usually pretty fast too. Capra's is also a MotorGuide service center, but have never taken a motor there so don't know about thier service, although their reputation's good.
