Trilene XL vs. Trilene Sensation?

Trilene XL has been around for ages. Many trust XL due to its limp, easy casting characteristics. XL is more of a "trouble free" mono than most, meaning less memory, tangles, etc.

+ is the easy handling,

- is stretch, not super tough around rocks, docks, etc.

Sensation replaced SensiThin in 2001. Sensation is (in my opinion) the BEST mono line on the market. Sensation is thinner, stronger, more sensitive, and tougher than most mono lines.

+ Sensation has a very low stretch rate, making it ultra-sensative

+ Sensation is thinner than most lines, allowing crankbaits to dive deeper

+ Sensation is stronger than most mono lines, which is good around rocks, docks, weeds, etc.

- Sensation costs about $2 more per spool of line.

I've never had a problem with Sensation and think it out-rates XL in nearly every catagory.
