I bought a aqua-view scout xl yesterday and cannot figure out why I cannot get my LED lights to come on....do you just turn the dimmer switch to turn them on or am I just not to smart and i'm not turning them on right....the owners manual doesn't say.

Never mind...I'm not too bright....I just realized they don't light up like an LED flashlight...they are a soft light.

they are infa red light so you will not be able to see them, which is what you already found out, i have the scout model with the same set up as you amd the light dont work very well anyway, i havent used them when its completly dark out but as the light slowly fades you cant see anything, i have used ones with the led and all you can really see is all the particles in the water good luck and have fun the camera works great i love mine
