Spirit Lake & Okaboji Reports

Last week caught some nice perch on the south end of Spirit Lake in 19ft. I also caught a nice mess of sunnies on Smiths Bay on West Okaboji. Did anyone fish there this past weekend? I heard they were getting some fish off pocahantas point. Any report and ice conditions would be appreciated.

tried the grade and templar...couple sunnies on the grade and some little crappies on templar...not real great..what were u catching the sunnies on?

I caught them on pink ratso held real still. no jigging. I was on angler's bay on 2-7 and caught some nice walleyes while fishing for crappies. Does anyone know of an access on spirit that is not heaved up where a guy could drive a small car out?

isn't there alot of open water on smiths bay though? how thick was the ice? few guys are gettin some on emerson too

Should be fine walking out in the bays. I haven't been up to Spirit or Okoboji for a couple of weeks, but have been finding around 6 inches fishing a few local ponds. I'd think Angler's would be a good 8+ still.
