Deer in GMU 87

Howdy, looking at a CO deer hunt in GMU 87, which I believe is in the northeast part of the state? Wanted to know if anyone is familiar with that portion of the state(terrain, vegetation,etc) and if its mostly muleys or also whitetails. Thanks.

Whitetails down by the river bottoms, mule deer up in the bluffs mostly. But the deer in Colorado are swaping areas more than the used too!

Thanks much. Interesting to note that my buddy also lives in Col Springs. Was elk hunting with him last year in GMU 161. Looks like I'm gonna have to do some applying before the deer hunt happens(unless I go for does).
