I will be in Gackle, ND the 4-8th. Finishing up the season chaising cock birds. Anyone been huntng out there lately. I'm just looking for a little optimism.

Heard from a friend who was out in Kulm the weekend before Christmas. He was out there to do a little work on our house as well as someone elses. He had a few hours off so he went on a little tour and didn't see much.

He did spot a few pheasants and one covey of Huns but as far as birds that was all. Sunday morning he got up early and picked off a couple of yotes.

I think the birds are usually better up by Gackle rather then Kulm anyway.

Well I am going to hunt hard and I think we will be fine. We are going to try and hammer down on the yotes as well. They guy I am hunting with has been getting one or two every weekend.
