Finally got my house on the big pond today, banked it up, went to drill my holes, auger wouldn't run right.
Here's the deal, starts just fine, vent cap open, will idle all day long, when I press the throttle, nothing..no change in pitch, nothing, just idles.
I took the gas tank off, it looks like there is a spring missing on the bottom of the throat plate valve stem.
I'm not sure if there's supposed to be one there or not, I can't find a diagram of it on the strikemaster page. I'm off to gander in Brainerd to see if I can get a look at one.
Any other ideas?

ok, found the thread from last week that talked about it. I didn't have any sea foam, and I didn't remove the side plates because I didn't have a gasket set....so being me, I just tapped it on the sides of the carb with the handle of a screwdriver, put it allback together, and no whammies, it works....I'll try drilling some holes in the AM.
