Rod Rocker Question

Does anyone have a problem with those Rod Rockers being too close to the wall? The Lewandoski rod holders seem to hold the rod away from the wall and allow you to position it better. But the price on the Rod Rockers is much better. Anyone have experience with these holders?

Let me clarify my question...if your hole isn't directly against the wall, there's no way to position your rod tip above the hole, correct?

I was in the exact same situation that you are talking about. So what I did to fix the problem was to cut a wedge shaped piece of wood to mount to the wall and then I attached the rod rocker to the wedge piece. Then it turns the tip of the rod out over the hole. You can't go any more though then the rod handle will alow. If you turn too much then the rod handle will hit the wall. These was a pretty easy solution to the problem for me.
